Coir
Coir is made from the fibrous, outer husks of coconut shells. The fibers are removed from the husk and processed into yarn, or coir. Ripe coconuts produce coarse, brown-colored coir and unripened, green coconuts produce a finer textured, white to golden-yellow colored coir.
